What am I not allowed to bring with me on my move?
Some items can’t come with you on your move such as fireworks, flammables, cleaning fluids, matches, etc. When speaking with one of our moving coordinators we will provide you with a list of items that can not be shipped when utilizing a moving company.
What if I want to pack myself? Does Medal of Honor Moving Group help with that?
You can certainly pack yourself. Visit our packing tips & guides for advice on how to pack dishes, clothes, shoes and other items. You can also ask one of our moving coordinators for tips to pack when scheduling your move.
Do I have to Empty dresser draws Before the Movers pack? Or can I leave the Stuff inside them?
You would need to empty the dresser drawers before the movers arrive to pack and load the items in the truck.
What packing options do you offer?
You can pack yourself, we can pack some of your belongings or we can pack everything. Medal of Honor Moving Group is here to personalize your move process and make this transition easier.
My move date changed. What should I do?
Contact your moving coordinator as soon as you can if your move dates have changed. He or she can process any changes to your plan and discuss updates. Keep in mind that your estimate may change depending on the dates you selected and when the date was changed from the time the move was scheduled.
How do I book a move with Medal of Honor Moving Group?
You can call in direct through our customer service department with the number listed on our website or fill out a quote form and one of our moving coordinators will contact you in a timely fashion or on a date and time you choose when filling out the form.
Do you take TV mounts off the wall?
We do not remove TV mounts on or off the wall. We ask that you have your television in a box ready to be loaded on the truck for move day. If you need assistance with removing a TV mount ask one of our coordinators for some suggestions. Craigslist is a good source to find a contractor that you can hire to have the mounts taken down.
When should I contact my Moving coordinator?
You can contact your Moving coordinator at any point in the moving process. We suggest planning ahead of time so the move is less stressful and you can potentially save cost when scheduling. Scheduling your move is much like buying a ticket for a flight. With booking months or weeks in advance you can avoid expedited charges and additional fees.
